Clove isn't just for pumpkin pie (although it's very tasty !). Clove bud can be a very useful oil. According to Susan Worwoods's book, Essential Aromatherapy a Pocket Guide to Essential Oils and Aromatherpy (sold on this website) it is historically known to help with warts, toothache, muscle pain, rheumatism, colds, flu, chest infections, and a variety of other ailments. It is said to have the qualities of an antiseptic, antibiotic, anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, among other qualities. It can be found alone or in many formulations currently on the market. Here at SuperStuff we have used it in a formulation for stiff sore hands due to arthritis.
